If there is one thing that unites people, it is the longing for happiness. Even if we don't seem to be particularly successful, we're not giving up. All over the world, people are trying out different ways to get a little closer to experiencing happiness. The exhibition Japanese Happiness aims to open doors to new and often unknown inspirations that make life worth living. In particular, it broadens our perception of the aesthetic dimension of the experience of happiness, which is deeply rooted in Japanese culture.
The experimental and sensory design exhibition attempts to shed light on the connections between happiness and Japanese aesthetics using selected objects from everyday life, design objects and works of art. Curator Philipp Teufel will guide us through the show.
